(Matthew 27:6-7 - New Testament) The chief priests took the pieces of silver, and said, “It’s not lawful to put them into the treasury, since it is the price of blood.” They took counsel, and bought the potter’s field with them, to bury strangers in.

(Psalm 27:12 - Old Testament) Don’t deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me, such as breathe out cruelty.

(Matthew 26:59-60 - New Testament) Now the chief priests, the elders, and the whole council sought false testimony against Jesus, that they might put him to death; and they found none. Even though many false witnesses came forward, they found none. But at last two false witnesses came forward,

(Matthew 27:12-14 - New Testament) When he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. Then Pilate said to him, “Don’t you hear how many things they testify against you?” He gave him no answer, not even one word, so that the governor marveled greatly.

Prophecy
(Psalm 22:16 - Old Testament) For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet.
(Isaiah 53:5 - Old Testament) But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
(Zechariah 12:10 - Old Testament) I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn.

(Psalm 22:7-8 - Old Testament) All those who see me mock me. They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying, “He trusts in Yahweh; let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.”
Fulfillment
(Matthew 27:39-43 - New Testament) Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying, “You who destroy the temple, and build it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross!” Likewise the chief priests also mocking, with the scribes, the Pharisees, and the elders, said, “He saved others, but he can’t save himself. If he is the King of Israel, let him come down from the cross now, and we will believe in him. He trusts in God. Let God deliver him now, if he wants him; for he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’”

(Psalm 69:21 - Old Testament) They also gave me gall for my food. In my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.

(Matthew 27:34 - New Testament) They gave him sour wine to drink mixed with gall. When he had tasted it, he would not drink.
(John 19:29 - New Testament) Now a vessel full of vinegar was set there; so they put a sponge full of the vinegar on hyssop, and held it at his mouth.

(Psalm 22:18 - Old Testament) They divide my garments among them. They cast lots for my clothing.

(John 19:23-24 - New Testament) Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also the coat. Now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. Then they said to one another, “Let’s not tear it, but cast lots for it to decide whose it will be,” that the Scripture might be fulfilled, which says, “They parted my garments among them. For my cloak they cast lots.” Therefore the soldiers did these things.

Prophecy
(Psalm 34:20 - Old Testament) He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.
Fulfillment
(John 19:32-33 - New Testament) Therefore the soldiers came, and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who was crucified with him; but when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was already dead, they didn’t break his legs.
~ Buried in a rich man's tomb ~
Prophecy
(Isaiah 53:9 - Old Testament) They made his grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in his death; although he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Fulfillment
(Matthew 27:57-60 - New Testament) When evening had come, a rich man from Arimathaea, named Joseph, who himself was also Jesus’ disciple came. This man went to Pilate, and asked for Jesus’ body. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given up. Joseph took the body, and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had cut out in the rock, and he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed.

Prophecy
(Psalm 16:10 - Old Testament) For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.

(Mark 16:6-7 - New Testament) He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen. He is not here. Behold, the place where they laid him! But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He goes before you into Galilee. There you will see him, as he said to you.’”
