(Isa59:2) 2But your iniquities have made a division between you and your God, and your sins have concealed his face from you, so that he would not hear.
(Psa50:16-22) 16But to the sinner, God has said: Why do you discourse on my justices, and take up my covenant through your mouth? 17Truly, you have hated discipline, and you have cast my sermons behind you. 18If you saw a thief, you ran with him, and you have placed your portion with adulterers. 19Your mouth has abounded with malice, and your tongue has concocted deceits. 20Sitting, you spoke against your brother, and you set up a scandal against your mother’s son. 21These things you have done, and I was silent. You thought, unjustly, that I ought to be like you. But I will reprove you, and I will set myself against your face. 22Understand these things, you who forget God; lest at any time, he might quickly take you away, and there would be no one to rescue you.
(Exod20:14) 14You shall not commit adultery.
(Mt5:27-29) 27You have heard that it was said to the ancients: ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28But I say to you, that anyone who will have looked at a woman, so as to lust after her, has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29And if your right eye causes you to sin, root it out and cast it away from you. For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than that your whole body be cast into Hell.
(Mk7:20-23) 20“But,” he said “the things which go out from a man, these pollute a man. 21For from within, from the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22thefts, avarice, wickedness, deceitfulness, homosexuality, an evil eye, blasphemy, self-exaltation, foolishness. 23All these evils procede from within and pollute a man.”
(Mk10:11-12) 11And he said to them: “Whoever dismisses his wife, and marries another, commits adultery against her. 12And if a wife dismisses her husband, and is married to another, she commits adultery.”
(Lk16:18) 18Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery. And whoever marries her who has been divorced by her husband commits adultery.
(1Cor11:27-29) 27And so, whoever eats this bread, or drinks from the cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be liable of the body and blood of the Lord. 28But let a man examine himself, and, in this way, let him eat from that bread, and drink from that cup. 29For whoever eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks a sentence against himself, not discerning it to be the body of the Lord.
(Rom1:25-27) 25And they exchanged the truth of God for a lie. And they worshipped and served the creature, rather than the Creator, who is blessed for all eternity. Amen. 26Because of this, God handed them over to shameful passions. For example, their females have exchanged the natural use of the body for a use which is against nature. 27And similarly, the males also, abandoning the natural use of females, have burned in their desires for one another: males doing with males what is disgraceful, and receiving within themselves the recompense that necessarily results from their error.
(Rom2:3-6) 3But, O man, when you judge those who do such things as you yourself also do, do you think that you will escape the judgment of God? 4Or do you despise the riches of his goodness and patience and forbearance? Do you not know that the kindness of God is calling you to repentance? 5But in accord with your hard and impenitent heart, you store up wrath for yourself, unto the day of wrath and of revelation by the just judgment of God. 6For he will render to each one according to his works:
(1Cor6:9-10) 9Do you not know that the iniquitous will not possess the kingdom of God? Do not choose to wander astray. For neither fornicators, nor servants of idolatry, nor adulterers, 10nor the effeminate, nor males who sleep with males, nor thieves, nor the avaricious, nor the inebriated, nor slanderers, nor the rapacious shall possess the kingdom of God.
(1Cor6:15) 15Do you not know that your bodies are a part of Christ? So then, should I take a part of Christ and make it a part of a harlot? Let it not be so!
(1Cor6:18-19) 18Flee from fornication. Every sin whatsoever that a man commits is outside of the body, but whoever fornicates, sins against his own body. 19Or do you not know that your bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
(1Cor10:8) 8And let us not commit fornication, as some of them fornicated, and so twenty-three thousand fell on one day.
(Ga5:16-17) 16So then, I say: Walk in the spirit, and you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. 17For the flesh desires against the spirit, and the spirit against the flesh. And since these are against one another, you may not do whatever you want.
(Ga5:19-21) 19Now the works of the flesh are manifest; they are: fornication, lust, homosexuality, self-indulgence, 20the serving of idols, drug use, hostility, contentiousness, jealousy, wrath, quarrels, dissensions, divisions, 21envy, murder, inebriation, carousing, and similar things. About these things, I continue to preach to you, as I have preached to you: that those who act in this way shall not obtain the kingdom of God.
(Ga5:24-25) 24For those who are Christ’s have crucified their flesh, along with its vices and desires. 25If we live by the Spirit, we should also walk by the Spirit.
(Ga6:7-8) 7Do not choose to wander astray. God is not to be ridiculed. 8For whatever a man will have sown, that also shall he reap. For whoever sows in his flesh, from the flesh he shall also reap corruption. But whoever sows in the Spirit, from the Spirit he shall reap eternal life.
(Colossians3:2-6) 2Consider the things that are above, not the things that are upon the earth. 3For you have died, and so your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ, your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. 5Therefore, mortify your body, while it is upon the earth. For because of fornication, impurity, lust, evil desires, and avarice, which are a kind of service to idols, 6the wrath of God has overwhelmed the sons of unbelief.
(1Thess4:3-6) 3For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from fornication, 4that each one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor, 5not in passions of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God, 6and that no one should overwhelm or circumvent his brother in business. For the Lord is the vindicator of all these things, just as we have preached and testified to you.
(Ja1:15) 15Thereafter, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin. Yet truly sin, when it has been consummated, produces death.
(Ja4:4) 4You adulterers! Do you not know that the friendship of this world is hostile to God? Therefore, whoever has chosen to be a friend of this world has been made into an enemy of God.
(Mt12:36-37) 36But I say to you, that for every idle word which men will have spoken, they shall render an account in the day of judgment. 37For by your words shall you be justified, and by your words shall you be condemned.”
(Lk16:15) 15And he said to them: “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the sight of men. But God knows your hearts. For what is lifted up by men is an abomination in the sight of God.
(Eph4:29) 29Let no evil words proceed from your mouth, but only what is good, toward the edification of faith, so as to bestow grace upon those who listen.
(Ja4:17) 17Therefore, he who knows that he ought to do a good thing, and does not do it, for him it is a sin.
(Ja5:20) 20he ought to know that whoever causes a sinner to be converted from the error of his ways will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
(1Jn3:15) 15Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer. And you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding within him.
(1Jn2:3-4) 3And we can be sure that we have known him by this: if we observe his commandments. 4Whoever claims that he knows him, and yet does not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
(Acts3:19) 19Therefore, repent and be converted, so that your sins may be wiped away.
(Exod20:13) 13You shall not murder.
(Deut30:19) 19I call heaven and earth as witnesses this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore, choose life, so that both you and your offspring may live,
(Job10:11-12) 11You have clothed me with skin and flesh. You have put me together with bones and nerves. 12You have assigned to me life and mercy, and your visitation has preserved my spirit.
(Job31:15) 15Is not he who created me in the womb, also he who labored to make him? And did not one and the same form me in the womb?
(Psa139:13-15) 13For you have possessed my temperament. You have supported me from the womb of my mother. 14I will confess to you, for you have been magnified terribly. Your works are miraculous, as my soul knows exceedingly well. 15My bone, which you have made in secret, has not been hidden from you, and my substance is in accord with the lower parts of the earth.
(Prov24:11-12) 11Rescue those who are led away to death. And do not cease from delivering those who are dragged away to a violent death. 12If you would say: “I do not have sufficient strength.” He who inspects the heart, the same one understands, and nothing slips past the one who preserves your soul. And he shall repay a man according to his works.
(Isa1:15) 15And so, when you extend your hands, I will avert my eyes from you. And when you multiply your prayers, I will not heed you. For your hands are full of blood.
(Isa44:24) 24Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and your Maker from the womb: I am the Lord, who makes all things, who alone extends the heavens, who makes the earth firm. And there is no one with me.
(Isa49:1) 1Pay attention, you islands, and listen closely, you far away peoples. The Lord has called me from the womb; from the womb of my mother, he has been mindful of my name.
(Jer1:4-5) 4And the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 5“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. And before you went forth from the womb, I sanctified you. And I made you a prophet to the nations.”
(Mt7:2) 2For with whatever judgment you judge, so shall you be judged; and with whatever measure you measure out, so shall it be measured back to you.
(Mt18:5) 5And whoever shall accept one such little child in my name, accepts me.
(Mt18:10) 10See to it that you do not despise even one of these little ones. For I say to you, that their Angels in heaven continually look upon the face of my Father, who is in heaven.
(Lk1:15) 15For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and he will not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.
(Lk1:39-44) 39And in those days, Mary, rising up, traveled quickly into the hill country, to a city of Judah. 40And she entered into the house of Zechariah, and she greeted Elizabeth. 41And it happened that, as Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42And she cried out with a loud voice and said: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. 43And how does this concern me, so that the mother of my Lord would come to me? 44For behold, as the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy.
(Jn10:10) 10The thief does not come, except so that he may steal and slaughter and destroy. I have come so that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.
(Acts5:29) 29But Peter and the Apostles responded by saying: “It is necessary to obey God, more so than men.
(1Cor3:16-17) 16Do you not know that you are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God lives within you? 17But if anyone violates the Temple of God, God will destroy him. For the Temple of God is holy, and you are that Temple.
(1Cor3:18-19) 18Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become foolish, so that he may be truly wise. 19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. And so it has been written: “I will catch the wise in their own astuteness.”
(1Tim6:20) 20O Timothy, guard what has been deposited with you, avoiding the voice of profane novelties and of opposing ideas, which are falsely called knowledge.
